WOW Wee!

It has been lots of firs for Heidi, Memphis and myself. Our first hiccups, our first diapers, our first burps, our first spit ups, our first time outside in a big world, our first car ride, our first time at the house together, our first night alone...there is just too many to list. It has been a fun and rewarding experience for the whole family. Heidi and I are working really well together as a team. From feeding to naps to caring for each other we are starting to figure it all out.

We wanted to say a special thank-you to everybody for all of your thoughts and prayers. It has meant so much to us just knowing that you are there for us. Memphis Addison Pope is a very big part of our lives and she is sure to be for you as well. Thank-you all.

LIVE Blogging - Starting To Push

OK I have to say that Heidi is not your typical mother to be. She is so calm. So here we go starting to push. I guess the next time you here from us Memphis will be here!

LIVE Blogging - 10 at 10:30

We just hit 10cm and fully dilated. No pushing yet, Memphis needs to drop just a bit more. We are going to wait till right at 11 before we start pushing. Memphis could be a border baby. Born either on the16th or the 17th. Time will tell.

LIVE Blogging - Heidi At The Healm

SO I am sitting where with Heidi and she is telling me what to write. She didn't want to type it up herself so my fingers are now her fingers.

Hey guys just wanted to let everybody know that I am doing well. We are very excited and can't wait to share little baby Memphis with you all. Thanks for all of the continued support. Owi that was a contraction. There is a little pressure on my buttock. I feel the baby lower and lower as time moves on. Andre is keeping me occupied by making me watch old Bugs Bunny cartoons on the computer. Once again thanks for all of the thoughts and prayers.

LIVE Blogging - 9cm And Counting

The count down is on. The nurse was checking and said she could see a hand. How crazy! Memphis is a party animal. Throw your hands in air, she is on her way.

They gave Heidi some oxygen for the baby. She looks like Luke after the attack on Hoth. That is a good sign for Memphis, "The Force Is Strong With This One."

LIVE Blogging - UP & DOWN

Blood pressure that is. But it is not that bad. It is just something to talk about while we are waiting. Heidi has a catheter in which is fun. She can pee without leaving the bed. Sounds like something I should try!

Still chatty, just getting tired from the epidural.

Stay tuned.

LIVE Blogging - Epidural

It is in! No pain, but a little chatty. Ha ha ha, Heidi is so happy. The docs are super cool and helping out a lot. Heidi is shaking from the epidural but is doing great.

Lots of people here. Tons of fun.

Hey check us out!!!

LIVE Blogging - Breaking The Water

WOW! That was fast. Currently we are breaking the water. The doc just said that she was 8cm dilated. It was so simple to break the water! The doc is called to give the epidural. Looks like the baby is on the way!!!!!

LIVE Blogging - From The Baby Ward

We are in labor at Grand Strand hospital. Right now Heidi is 6cm dilated and we are waiting. It has been a great experience so far. The next step is breaking the water and then the epidural. Good things are ahead. Can't wait to see baby Memphis. It looks like it will be tonight around 11-12. So we will wait and see. Wish us luck!
